Frequently Asked Questions
  1. Reservations are required. Entrees must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.

  2. Please make reservations and menu selection by phone at 719-486-8114. See menu on this web site.

  3. Lunch Saturday and Sunday only 12:00-2:00pm Reservations required.
    Menu is ala carte trail fee required.

  4. You may not bring your own alcohol including wine.
    We sell wine, beer and coffee drinks.

  5. We accept cash, personal checks, visa and master card.

  6. We meet nightly at 5:30pm at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center at the base of Ski Cooper.
    First small brown building on right in Ski Cooper parking lot.

  7. Location of Ski Cooper is 10 miles North of Leadville on Hwy 24. See map on this web site.

  8. Hike, snowshoe or cross country ski 1 mile gaining 300ft to the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse.

  9. All equipment and trail fee is included in the price of dinner even head lamps.

  10. If snowshoeing or hiking please wear at least a light hiking boot or hiking shoe.

  11. Equipment is not included for lunch.
    You must rent equipment if needed and purchase a trail fee.

  12. Please do not forget your jacket, gloves and a hat.

  13. Snowmobile rides are reserved for those who are unable to make the trek in.

  14. We have no electricity, no running water.
    Light is provided by candle light and Natural gas. Heat is by a large wood stove.

  15. We seat up to 38 guests.

  16. One seating nightly.

  17. No children's menu.

  18. No dogs allowed inside cookhouse.
