Announcing the New Tennessee Pass Sleep Yurts!
After years of scheming, waiting, and wondering, we are pleased to now offer overnight accommodations at Tennessee Pass! With the addition of two new yurts, designed and furnished for cozy nights and light cooking, Tennessee Pass becomes a true multi-day, recreation destination.
Partners in the Sleep Yurts, Ty Hall and Dave Bott labored tirelessly throughout the summer and fall to realize this long-awaited complement to the Nordic Center and Cookhouse. Thanks go to Marti and Roxanne for putting up with the long hours, Andy Keck, and John Fulton for many hard days of help on the site, Fish Builders for getting us out of the ground, and Clint Yant & the crew at Ski Cooper for lending hardware, tools, and space to work! Thanks to Nate and Tom “Beard” Holford for their help assembling the yurts, and to Cliff with Colorado Yurts for his support!
